Cancer is a very serious subject and one that has touched many of us, whether personally, through a family member, or a friend. Bras for a Cause is a contest that will be fun, allow us to laugh in the face of this serious subject, and raise money for a worthy cause!

Participants are encouraged to show their support by decorating a bra in whatever fashion their creative juices take them. The use of any materials such as fabric, beads, paints, clay, feathers, glitter, etc. is encouraged as long as the finished project is tasteful.

Winners of the Bras for a Cause will be chosen by popular vote. The voting will take place during Girls’ Night Out held Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Kalahari Resort Convention Center. Attendees of Girls’ Night Out will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite bras by stuffing the ballot box at the cost of $1 per vote. The winning bras will rack up some bodacious prizes, so don’t be a boob and miss out on participating in this uplifting contest.

A silent auction for the decorated bras will take place during Girls’ Night Out with the proceeds benefiting Cancer Services, Firelands Regional Medical Center Cancer Program Fund, Fisher-Titus Mammography Fund and North Coast Cancer Foundation.
